We offer a family like atmosphere that displays the love of Christ to all of our children. Our desire as a church is to partner with parents in the disciple making of children. We provide childcare for birth through Pre-K during our Worship Service at 10.
Jesus invested in teaching and caring for children and we want to do likewise.
Your child’s safety is extremely important to us. All volunteers have passed a background check and participate in yearly ongoing training.
Check-in opens 15 minutes before the worship gathering begins. We use a security tag system for check-in and pick-up. All children birth-5th grade must be checked in before entering their classroom. Our Kids Check-In is located in our Gathering Hall.
If you are attending for the first time we will need the following information at Check-In: parent/legal guardian, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions for each child. The information will be entered into our database to maintain our secure check-in system.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Phillip Wood.
Kids in Worship
At FBC Oloh we value intergenerational worship, which means in part we believe it is important for our children to be with the adults during our Sunday Morning Worship Service. Why do we have this conviction? 1) We believe that Parents can disciple their children by modeling behavior in corporate worship, 2) We believe that children are capable of participating and comprehending the songs that we sing, the scripture we read, and the sermons that are given during the Worship Service. 3) We believe that the faith of a child can spur on faith in adults. 4) We believe it is important for families to regularly sing God’s word and study God’s word together.
We effort to address the children from time to time during the services and offer a sermon notes page at each entrance to help the children as they participate in worship.
