Procedures for Gathering for Worship During the COVID-19 Pandemic
- We will continue to post our services online for those in the vulnerable population and those who are uncomfortable attending worship at this time. Given the nature of our technology, our services will be posted at a time other than 10am on Sunday Morning. We will send out an alert once they have posted.
- We advise those over 65 and/or those with pre-existing medical conditions making them more vulnerable to infection to consider staying at home although not required.
- If you are sick, or think you might be sick, please stay at home and join us online.
- If you have had, or knowingly came into contact with anyone with COVID-19, we ask that you a lot yourself a 10-Day quarantine period before attending our gatherings.
- We suggest that those 6 years of age and older wear a mask, but masks will not be required.
- We will continue social distancing (6ft. apart) with non-family members before, during, and after services. This includes no hugs, handshakes, or other forms of physical greeting. The sanctuary seating will be altered so that you can sit alone or with your family socially distanced. Please consider arriving at least 10 minutes early in order to adjust seating arrangements for you and/or family. We will have ushers in each section of the sanctuary to assist in moving chairs for you and/or your family.
- There will be no nursery or childcare at this time.
- At this point, there will be no Sunday School or Sunday Night Small Group gatherings on church grounds. We encourage you to continue to look for potential virtual meetings, phone calls, or in home meetings as far as they are carried out responsibly.
- There will be hand sanitizer available at the three entrances. We strongly suggest you sanitize before and after the service.
- At this time we will not pass an offering plate. There is a box for offerings at the back of the sanctuary. We will continue to provide the online giving option as well.
- Following our gatherings, we ask that if you wish to visit with others in attendance that you make your way outside of the facility and maintain the appropriate distance.
- We will not be serving coffee at any point during our Gathering.
